  9. boring  statistics,  that take forever
  10. to  do  and  that  nobody  checks much
  11. anyway.   Or  not,  as  it  seems like
  12. people  actually  browse through this.
  13. As  you  might  know, here we list two
  14. things:   group  and  country  of  the
  15. voters,  and compare them against each
  16. other.   The group who has most voters
  17. will  as  usual get free beers from me
  18. at  the  next  party  I  attend.  Last
  19. time,  Apathy  had done all they could
  20. and  manage to muster 12 votes!  So, I
  21. had  to buy some beers for Leia/Apathy
  22. at the Breakpoint party.  Fair enough,
  23. but this time I think IRIS will be the
  24. winning group again, meaning I can get
  25. away   with   not  buying  any  beers,
  26. mwahah..   Apathy it seems, has fallen
  27. slightly  behind votingwise, after the
  28. momentous  feat of last time.  Anyway,
  29. let's take a look then:

  110. »CL0:Again,  it  is not surprising that the
  111. most  active  scene countries in terms
  112. of   voters  are  Norway  and  Poland.
  113. Neither  is it surprising that Germany
  114. and Denmark are close to each other in
  115. terms  of voters, although this should
  116. by  no means be taken to indicate that
  117. the  danish  scene  is huge or active.
  118. Rather,  it  is  because  8  of the 10
  119. votes  from  Denmark  come  from  IRIS
  120. members.  A bit surprising is the fact
  121. that  so  'many'  swedish sceners have
  122. decided  to  vote  this  time, usually
  123. swedes   are  not  the  nicest  people
  124. around, when it comes to voting.  Most
  125. interesting  is  the fact that sceners
  126. from   Russia  keep  coming  and  keep
  127. voting.   I  hope  to  see more to the
  128. Russian    Amiga    scene    when   it
  129. establishes     itself    for    real.
  130. Otherwise,  there is not much left for
  131. me  to  remark;  the numbers speak for
  132. themselves,    and   by   doing   this
  133. statistic  part  for  every EC, I give
  134. you   the   opportunity   to  see  for
  135. yourself  whether  certain  groups  or
  136. countries  can manage to influence the
  137. actual  voting.   Apart  from that, it
  138. displays  what groups might be active,
  139. and  what scene countries are the most
  140. populated.   With  that,  I  will stop
  141. this  article, and hope to see you all
  142. around for the next Eurochart.
